Setting up the Internet from the MTS telecom operator on different phones is done in different ways. This is due to differences in the operating systems of the devices and their functionality. Usually, the MTS setting is performed immediately after installing the SIM card, but if this does not happen, the parameters will have to be changed manually.
Instructions
Step 1
To change the Internet settings on the iOS platform, you need to go to the "Settings" menu of the main screen of the device. After that, call the section "Basic" - "Cellular data" - "Cellular data network".
Step 2
In the "Cellular Data" menu, fill in the appropriate fields in accordance with the operator's settings. So, the APN parameter must be set as internet.mts.ru, and the username and password must be specified as mts. Then save your changes and reboot your phone to test the connection you just created.
Step 3
On Android devices, setup is done in the same way. Call the main menu and select the "Settings" item. Next, click on the line "Wireless" and check the box next to "Mobile Internet". After that, go to "Mobile networks" and select the preinstalled MTS Internet in the list that appears. If there is no profile, open the context menu and click "Create APN".
Step 4
In the list that appears, enter the APN value equal to internet.mts.ru. Enter login and password as mts. You can leave the rest of the sections unchanged. After making the settings, restart your phone and use the Browser program to access the Internet.
Step 5
To configure Windows Phone, go to the "Settings" section of the device menu. Click on "Data transfer" and select "Add Internet access point". In the line "Access point" specify internet.mts.ru. Set the username and password as mts. You can leave the rest of the sections blank. Click on the "Save" button and restart your device. Go to Internet Explorer to check your Internet mode.
Step 6
For other phones not running the above operating systems, use the same data to change settings. After making the settings for the active access point, be sure to reboot the phone to save the settings.
