Instructions
Step 1
Deactivate the "Home Region" service using a special USSD command entered from a mobile phone. If, when activating the option, you dialed * 437 * 55 # and the call button, to disconnect the number 2 is added to the combination of symbols, the command will look like this: * 437 * 55 * 2 # and the “Call” key. If you want to check the status of an option, enter 0 instead of 2.
Step 2
To deactivate the service, use the Service-Guide system. First of all, get a password, dial * 105 * 00 # from your phone and the "Call" key. Your phone will receive a message from the operator with a universal password, remember it or save the message.
Step 3
Visit the official website of the mobile operator Megafon, which is located at www.megafon.ru. On the page, find the link to the system and click on it. Next, enter the phone number and the received password.
Step 4
In the menu that opens, select the "Services and tariff" tab, click on the "Change the set of services" section. Put a check mark in front of the "Additional" label, in the list that opens, find the "Home region" option, uncheck the box. Then save your changes.
Step 5
Disable the service by calling the short free number 0500. Listen to the autoinformer, wait for the operator to answer. After that, name the code word or your passport data (that is, the owner of the personal account). Only after providing this information an employee of the cellular company will be able to disconnect the service.
Step 6
If for some reason you were unable to disable the option using the above methods, contact the retail service office or the operator's representative office for help. If you are a legal entity, you just need to send an official letter by fax or visit a corporate customer service office.
