Satellite television from Tricolor TV is one of the most popular in Russia. Of course, it is better to entrust the installation of the antenna and the tuning process to an experienced specialist. However, all of this can be done on your own.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is assembling the antenna. Assemble it following the instructions in the attached instructions. Make sure that in the tilted position the dish can be perpendicular to the ground. If the slope is too small, carefully examine the antenna - most likely, you did not assemble it quite correctly.
Step 2
Antenna for Tricolor TV is mounted on the south side of the house. The broadcasting satellite is located 4 degrees to the left of the south. Orient the antenna exactly to the south on the compass, then move it 4 degrees to the left. Secure it in this position until not too tight. Orient the plane of the plate perpendicular to the ground. For the northern regions of the country, this slope should even be negative - that is, the plate should look slightly into the ground. This is due to the design feature of modern offset plates. Connect the cymbal converter and the receiver with a cable, grab the cable itself with electrical tape to the converter holder and the base of the antenna so that it is not swayed by the wind.
Step 3
Turn on your TV and receiver. Double-click the red button in the middle left of the remote control, a tuning bar with signal strength and quality parameters will appear. Do not be surprised if the scales are empty - the dish simply does not "see" the satellite. Now you need to "catch" him: if you cannot simultaneously adjust the dish and see the screen, you will need an assistant. You can communicate by cell phone. One person is at the TV, the second very slowly turns the antenna up. If no signal appears, turn the antenna slightly to the left or right and repeat the procedure again.
Step 4
Surely "Tricolor TV" is also watched by other residents of your settlement. Take a closer look at what angle - at least approximately - the plane of the antenna is rotated relative to the ground, this will help the installation. Once you have picked up the signal, carefully adjust the antenna so that the signal strength and quality reaches about 80 percent of the scale. This is a good result, allowing you to watch TV programs with maximum quality.
Step 5
The next step is to set up Tricolor TV channels. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control, select "Search for Tricolor TV channels". Run a search. When the channels are found, you will be prompted to save them, click "Yes". It should be noted that at first you may not see a single channel - there will be an inscription “DRE encoded channel” everywhere. This is due to the fact that your receiver has not yet received the access keys from the satellite. The same situation happens if the receiver has been turned off for several days. Just leave it switched on on some federal channel - for example, "Culture". All channels will start working within a few hours.
