Instructions
Step 1
Start by preparing the software and files that you will need to update your mobile phone firmware. Download the MultiLoader app. Use the fifth version of the program. This will eliminate certain problems found in previous kits.
Step 2
Download the firmware files. To do this, use the official forum dedicated to Samsung mobile devices. Do not download firmware files from unverified resources. This could damage the device.
Step 3
Connect your mobile phone to your computer using a USB cable. Never try to flash the device via Bluetooth. You are unlikely to be able to correctly complete the firmware upgrade.
Step 4
Start the MultiLoader application. In the start menu, specify the platform type BRCM2133. Activate the firmware upgrade mode on your mobile device. To do this, hold down the power and volume up keys. Release the buttons after the Download message appears on the phone display.
Step 5
Click the Port Search button on the MultiLoader menu. After identifying the device, go to Full Download mode. The explorer menu will start immediately after that. Specify the firmware files. For correct device firmware use files with Bin, Rc1, Rc2 and Ffs extensions from the Bootfiles directory and all files of the Calset folder.
Step 6
After preparing the firmware mode, click the Download button. Wait for the application to finish running. Do not press the phone keys during this period. After the mobile device turns on automatically, disconnect the USB cable.
Step 7
Check the functionality of the new firmware. Reset your mobile phone by dialing the service code * # 1234 #.
