If you have connected cable or satellite TV, then it is possible to distribute the signal to several TV receivers at once using a splitter and RF-coaxial cable.

Instructions

Step 1

Go to a TV and radio store and purchase an RF coaxial cable. When buying, consider where exactly the TVs will be located, and what is the distance between them so that the cable can be laid freely. Pay attention to the condition of the cable, since this will determine how well the TVs will reproduce the signal from the antenna.

Step 2

Buy a splitter (splitter), a device that has one antenna port and two or three for TVs. Do not buy a cheap splitter from unknown manufacturers, otherwise there may be a possibility of a short circuit and, as a result, failure of the entire system.

Step 3

Prepare to lay the cable. Disconnect all unnecessary electrical appliances at the moment, check the condition of the wiring. If you want all your installation work to be discreet, run the cable along the walls behind the furniture. The furniture must be moved away in advance, and after you have laid the cable, carefully move it in so as not to damage it.

Step 4

Choose a location for a satellite dish or satellite dish. Place an ordinary antenna as high as possible to ensure good signal reception, connect two tuners to the satellite.

Step 5

Connect the antenna to the splitter via an RF coaxial cable through the dedicated port. Connect TVs in series to other ports.

Step 6

Secure the RF coaxial cable along the baseboards so as not to be stepped on with electrical tape. Check for the possibility of damage to the cable.

Step 7

Turn on TVs to check the signal reception quality. If one of the TVs does not reproduce the picture properly or does not work at all, check the cable along the entire length and make sure that it is securely attached and not damaged.
