Step 1
Turn off the TV using the off button, which is usually located under the TV screen, to demagnetize the TV's CRT. Then pull the plug out of the socket. Wait ten, preferably thirty minutes. Then turn on the TV again using the button. At this moment, the built-in demagnetization system should work, the screen will show normal colors. If this method fails to demagnetize the TV monitor, use the next method.
Step 2
Make a choke from an old transformer that has an W-shaped iron, remove the straight strips, assemble on a coil so that only these W-shaped plates are visible on one side. Connect to the terminals of the mains winding through the button an electric plug for 220V mains. The button can be taken from the old bell, tape it to the choke with electrical tape in order to demagnetize the TV screen with it.
Step 3
Disconnect the screen from the mains, remove the plug from the socket. Plug the choke into an outlet, move about one and a half meters away from the screen, press the button to turn on the choke. Using smooth, circular, spiral movements, bring it closer to the screen until you reach a distance of about two centimeters. Move around the screen from the edges to the center (concentric). Then follow the same movements, only in reverse order, without turning off the button.
Step 4
Swipe the throttle from the center to the edges of the screen, then move it in a spiral motion at a distance of two meters from the TV, then release the button. You need to do all these actions in 30 - 40 seconds. Degaussing in this way is best done after consulting a specialist.
Step 5
Find the demagnetize function in the sections of the monitor menu. First, go to the menu, to do this, press the corresponding button on the monitor panel, turn on the function. At this moment, a demagnetizing noise will be heard, the screen will go out for a while.
