Watching satellite TV on a computer has many advantages, in particular, you can watch and record many programs for free. To do this, you just need to enter the keys that are available for download on the Internet.

Instructions
Step 1
Install the ProgDVB program. It is most advisable to install tested version 4. Download and install also codecs for video MPEG2 and MPEG4.
Step 2
Setting up the program. We denote the time shift function Timeshift, select the location of the recording file, indicate its maximum size. Install Elecard MPEG-2 codec.
Step 3
We launch the program. In the installation menu, select the list of devices, in it we indicate the type of video card. Next, in the menu, go to the "DISEqC and providers" tab. In the "empty" item, we again indicate the type of video card and converter. In the tab "Which satellite is tuned to" we designate the required type of satellite. Select "Channel search".
Step 4
If there are no keys, then we use the hinge method. For this we use DVB-S or DVB-S2 cards, as well as a plug-in for ProgDVB CSCLient. Copy the access string from the sharing server to the csc.ini file. Launch ProgDVB. In the plugin menu, select Cardserver Client and mark Active in it.
Step 5
Select the channel, go to the "Channel Properties" tab. Depending on the package of interest, we indicate the identity.
