Standby mode is a feature of the operating system that minimizes power consumption and wear and tear on your computer's resources. The function is a plus of the operating system, but some users do not come in handy. This can be explained by the fact that the constant transition to the standby mode makes a person nervous if he only partially needs a computer.

Instructions
Step 1
It is possible to disable "Standby mode" partially or completely. Partial disabling of the mode is a prohibition on operation after several minutes of computer inactivity. Disabling the mode completely allows you to remove the yellow "Standby" button when the computer is turned off. These methods can be combined to completely get rid of the "Standby" feature.
Partial disabling of "Standby mode". Right-click on the desktop - "Properties" - "Screensaver" - "Power". In the tab that opens, put "Never". There is also an alternative way to launch the window we need: "Start" - "Control Panel" - "Screen" - "Screensaver" - "Power".
Step 2
The second way to partially disable "Standby Mode" will be related to the system registry of the operating system. You need to create a new text document. Open it and copy these lines:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Windows / Curre ntVersion / Policies / Explorer]
"NoClose" = dword: 00000000
After that, click "File" - "Save As" - write the name of the file 123.reg
Run this file, click "OK".
Step 3
Complete disabling of "Standby mode". Create a new text document and copy these lines into it:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Services / ACPI / Parameters]
"AMLIMaxCTObjs" = hex: 04, 00, 00, 00
"Attributes" = dword: 00000070
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Services / ACPI / Parameters / WakeUp]
"FixedEventMask" = hex: 20, 05
"FixedEventStatus" = hex: 00, 84
"GenericEventMask" = hex: 18, 50, 00, 10
"GenericEventStatus" = hex: 10, 00, ff, 00
After that click "File" - "Save As" - write the name of the file 456.reg
Run this file, click "OK".
