Creation of diplomas is a common task for an organizer, leader, teacher. The ability to print the necessary information on an existing certificate or create a commendation sheet from scratch will allow you to please the awardees and their loved ones.
Instructions
Step 1
One of the easiest and fastest ways to print literate text is empirical (through trial and error) printing in Microsoft Word. Type text (first name, last name, reason for award, or place taken), evaluate position on a word processor sheet, change titles and text size using the Formatting panel.
Step 2
First print the document on plain paper, attach this test sheet to the letter. If the "sketch" accurately reflects the position of the words and the formatting of the spelling, you can proceed to the final printing. If the text is inconsistent with the literacy fields, you can repeat the experiment with formatting again (using spaces, tabs and pressing the line feed (Enter) button).
Step 3
A more advanced way is to use scanning software, intelligent text recognition and text editing. Such opportunities are provided by ABBYY FineReader. You can install it in trial mode by registering on the ABBYY.com website.
Step 4
Scan the document and save it in any available format (jpeg, pdf or tiff). Open the file in FineReader, in the "Convert" ("Conversion") menu, select "Convert to doc".
Step 5
You will receive a document that can be edited in a familiar office format. Open it, enter the text in the required fields, set up the font using the "Formatting" panel. Finally, you can save your changes and print the document.
Step 6
Typically, the material from which the letters are made is often either dense or glossy. The instructions for the printer indicate the maximum density that it can handle. The density of the cardboard is from 250 to 350 g / m2. A "life hack" will help to print thick glossy paper: you can rub the surface with an eraser shortly before placing it in the printer.
