Caller ID is, of course, a convenient service that can help out in a situation when your mobile is turned off or is out of the network coverage area. Some operators have a number (often more than one) by which you can activate the identifier on your phone at any time.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are a subscriber of the Beeline telecom operator, then activate the "Caller ID" service either by dialing a USSD request * 110 * 061 #, or by calling the toll free number 067409061. The funds will not be charged from the account for connection. By the way, in order for the information to be displayed correctly and without errors, it is better to write down the number in the international format (that is, via +7).
Step 2
In "MTS" you can activate the identifier using the "Internet Assistant". You can find it on the main page of the company's website. To enter this self-service system, you will need a username and password. Your phone number will become your login, and you must set the password yourself by sending a request to the number * 111 * 25 # or by calling 1118 (an operator or an answering machine will answer you, follow his instructions). Please note that the password length must be between 4 and 7 characters (numbers). "Internet Assistant" is provided free of charge, no subscription fee is charged for its use. You also need to make sure that you enter the password correctly, because if you enter the wrong password repeatedly, access to the system can be blocked for some time.
Step 3
But Megafon subscribers do not need to specifically activate the service, since it will be activated automatically after the card is registered in the network. True, this caller ID will not be able to work if the subscriber who calls or writes to you has "Caller ID" installed.
