Step 1
To cut music from a movie, you need the Nero program. Most PC users install it. Launch the program and find the "Photos and Videos" section in the menu. You need an application to convert DVD Videos to Nero Digital. And here it will help you to compress, trim the video, select the audio track and subtitle Nero Recode.
Step 2
Select this application from the list of programs on the left or from the Convert DVD Video to Nero Digital (TM) section. Open the program and from the "File" menu select the "Import" option. Specify the location of the video file and add it to the project. Then go to the "Trim" function (the list of this and other operations is presented on the right side of the working window). Mark the start and end frames of the video. In this case, you need to find the song you like and trim the file. Save the video in mpeg-4 format to a folder on your hard drive.
Step 3
After that, launch the file converter, add the saved excerpt to it and specify the output format and folder to save the file. When the transcoding process is complete, you can listen to the processed music piece.

If this option is not suitable for you, first use the converter to convert the video file to music. Then use the Nero Wave Editor application. Open the file and start processing it. Listen and cut out the passages you don't need. In this case, it is good to use the options "Cut" (Ctrl + X), "Copy" (Ctrl + C), "Paste" (Ctrl + V), "Delete" (Ctrl + Del). You can select the desired fragment and copy and paste it into a new document. Then specify the format of the output excerpt and save.
