Step 1
It is necessary to determine the IMEI - a unique identification number of your cell phone, consisting of 15 digits. It is contained in its firmware and is installed during production at the factory. Dial * # 06 # on the keypad in the standby mode of the device

Step 2
Turn off the phone and open the battery compartment of the device, remove the battery, find a sticker on the case under it. IMEI will also be indicated there.
Step 3
Check this number with the one that was copied from the screen. If they match, then most likely the phone is not fake. However, this does not guarantee the legitimacy of its sale in Russia.
Step 4
Check also the numbers on the packaging, if preserved, and with the number indicated in the warranty card. They must match as well. Branded devices in Nokia stores (or at official representatives of the company) are supplied with a twelve-month blue warranty sticker on the lid or on the box.
