Parts of a music file are cut from songs for different purposes: to create a musical collage for a stage performance, to include in a new piece using filters, etc. Whatever your intentions, you will need the same programs for working with sound - audio editors.
Instructions
Step 1
One of these sound editors is “mp3DirectCut”. Download the installation file from the link below. Start it up.
Step 2
Click “Next” button to start installation. After installation, a shortcut leading to the program will appear on the desktop. Run the program.
Step 3
Select a language, restart the program. After restarting, open the "File" menu, then the "Open" command. Select the file directory and the file itself in mp3 format.
Step 4
Select the beginning of the fragment by hovering the cursor and clicking the "Start" button. Then use the "End" button to select the line border.
Step 5
Click the "File" menu, then "Save Changes". Specify the name of the new file and the destination folder. The piece is cut out.
