ICQ is one of the most common means of Internet communication. Many users actively communicate via ICQ on their mobile phones. To have the same opportunity, MTS subscribers need to set up their phone in a certain way to access the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
There are several ways to customize. The first is to automatically receive settings from the operator. To do this, open an Internet browser on your computer and follow the link https://www.mts.ru/help/settings/settings_phone/. In the corresponding field, enter your phone number in the specified format, then select the required picture (to verify that you are a human, not a robot) and click the "Send settings" button. After a while, they will come to your phone.
Step 2
The second option is to manually set the settings. To do this, select the appropriate item in the phone menu. On iPhones, go to Settings -> General -> Network -> Cellular Data Network and enter the following values:
- APN: internet.mts.ru;
- username: mts;
- password: mts.
Step 3
In mobile devices based on Android (smartphones Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony Ericsson, etc.), select "Settings" -> "Wireless" in the menu, check the box next to "Mobile Internet" and select "Mobile networks". After that, click "Menu" -> "Create APN", specify the following settings, and leave the rest unchanged:
- name: MTS internet;
- APN: internet.mts.ru;
- login: mts;
- password: mts;
Step 4
In other mobile phones, depending on the manufacturer and model, the required menu item may be located in different places, but, as a rule, it is “Internet”, “Configuration parameters”, “Access point”, etc. Create a new account (profile, access point) with the following parameters:
- Profile name: MTS Internet;
- data channel (Data bearer): GPRS;
- access point (APN): internet.mts.ru;
- User name: mts;
- password (Password): mts.
Step 5
Set the created connection to the default one.
For some phones, you need to open the application settings and also specify the created connection as the main one.
