However, there are several caveats. The process of exchange and return of goods in the Russian Federation is regulated by article 25 of the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights. In this article, there are several conditions that must be met by the buyer in the event of an exchange of goods.

According to Article 25 of the ZOZPP, you have the right to exchange your phone only if 14 days have not passed since the purchase, the phone has not been used, its appearance, equipment and consumer properties are fully preserved, and you also have a product or cashier's check confirming payment.

According to the same article, you can either exchange your phone for a similar one, and return your money, or purchase another product in exchange. The seller has the right to refuse you only if you have not met the conditions described above, and also has the right to return the money to you within 3 days from the date you returned the goods.
