If you have purchased a low-quality mobile phone with clearly visible defects or you simply do not like it for any reason, you can exchange it within two weeks in accordance with consumer protection law.
Instructions
Step 1
State the reason why you want to exchange a cell phone. This could be a factory malfunction or a malfunction of the mobile phone operating system. One way or another, the phone cannot be working in the full sense of the word.
Step 2
Take a cashier's check, a warranty card - in general, all the papers that were given to you in the store when buying a phone. Insist on an exchange, or at least a store fix. In this situation, the store administration has no right to refuse you.
Step 3
Contact the store even if the phone is in good working order and works great, but you are not satisfied with its design and feature set. You are obliged to either exchange your mobile phone for another that will completely suit you, or return the money. This is a well-founded requirement, backed up by consumer protection law.
Step 4
You can request a replacement phone within two weeks of purchase. As practice shows, sellers will try to find a suitable phone, since it is not profitable for them to return money to buyers. It is also your right to choose a more expensive model and ask to replace the purchased phone with it, of course, with your surcharge.
Step 5
Contact your city's consumer protection office if your mobile phone is refused. If your rights were really violated, then an appropriate fine will be imposed on the guilty seller, and the money spent will be returned to you in full.
Step 6
Remember that your requirements will be met if the phone is still in a marketable condition, the integrity of the packaging has not been violated, and all the papers indicating the purchase in this particular store have been preserved. If you purchased a mobile phone hand-held or from a dubious outlet, then you will not have any chance to use consumer protection law.
