Step 1
Keep in mind that the maximum period for which you can block a number is 180 days. If you order blocking before the end of the reporting month, the subscription fee for all communication services will be charged for the entire month in full. You will be able to use your number again automatically after the blocking period you have set. If you want to activate the number earlier, you will need to personally apply with the appropriate application to the Megafon communication salon or call the contact center.
Step 2
Apply with an application for voluntary blocking of your number to the nearest Megafon communication salon. Take your passport or other document proving your identity - without this, your application will not be accepted. If your SIM card is missing, you can immediately order a new one.
Step 3
To block your number, call the Contact Center by phone 0500. If your Megafon SIM card has disappeared, and neither you nor your loved ones have another, call the contact center by city phone. You can find out the number on the website of the Megafon company in your region. To accept your application, the operator will ask you for your passport details, so keep your documents nearby.
Step 4
Block your number through the Service-Guide online service. In this case, you will not need a passport, but you will need a password to enter your personal account. If you do not remember it or did not install it at all, and the SIM card is missing, you cannot use this method of blocking.
Step 5
Go to the page https://sg.megafon.ru/. Enter your phone number. If you don't have a password, order it. All order / password recovery methods available in your region are detailed on the login page. Enter the password, CAPTCHA verification code in the fields provided for this and enter your personal account.
Step 6
Go to the section "Services and tariff". Select the subsection "Number blocking". Set the blocking start date and renewal date and click on the "Set" button.
