Instructions
Step 1
Contact the nearest MTS center. In any large city there is such a center, the location of which can be specified by calling 8 800 333 0890. You will need an identity card and a SIM card agreement to perform the blocking operation. As a rule, such operations are carried out only in the presence of the original document. If the number is registered to another person, he must come to the service center with you and his passport to lock the phone.
Step 2
Use the internet assistant to block the SIM card yourself. To do this, go to the MTS website at https://ihelper.mts.ru and enter your phone number (which needs to be blocked) and the login password corresponding to this number. In this case, you will receive a message on your phone number, which will indicate an identification code for authorization on the official website of the operator.
Step 3
Examine the page of the Internet assistant and find the item "Number blocking", which is in the list on the left. Click on it to enter the service section for managing the SIM card blocking.
Step 4
Fill in the form fields and submit your request for execution. This service is free of charge. If you need to activate your phone number again, you will need to perform a SIM card recovery. This can be done in the nearest MTS salon, since it will be impossible to do this through the site, because messages do not come to the blocked number, and you need a message with a code for authorization.
Step 5
If you have never used the Internet assistant on the MTS website and do not have your own password, then blocking the number without visiting the MTS center will not work. Contact the operator's help desk for more information on SIM card blocking.
