The mobile phone market is literally oversaturated today. Therefore, it is sometimes difficult for a simple average consumer to choose for themselves the gadget that really turns out to be the most suitable.

The problem of choosing a smartphone or a phone rises in full growth before a person who comes to a mobile phone salon for a new gadget. Especially if the buyer does not particularly follow the appearance of new products on the market. Smartphones built on the Android platform are produced by many manufacturers, and therefore the choice is not so easy.

Determining the functionality and price category

The Android platform provides the user with highly developed functionality already "in the basic configuration", which is typical for most budget smartphones. That is why the models of different manufacturers do not differ much from each other in terms of the set of useful functions - I mean the budget sector of the mobile gadgets market. Differences can be, perhaps, only in the features of the interface of the device (the presence and location of physical buttons, for example), the quality of the camera, the presence and type of flash, support for memory cards of a certain size. The difference can be in the design of the device itself and in the graphical features of the operating system.

Technical characteristics such as the type of processor (brand, model, number of cores, speed), the presence of BlueTooth and Wi-Fi, the amount of RAM, support for 3G and LTE networks are important. Of course, the higher the operating frequency of the processor and the more RAM, the better the phone will perform. 512 megabytes of RAM, for example, is quite enough to carry out most of the tasks set for an inexpensive smartphone, but this may not be enough to run "heavy" games. If you want to play with toys from time to time, it is better to ask the sales assistant in the salon to show you a more expensive smartphone, but with a whole gigabyte of RAM.

The amount of internal memory also needs to be chosen more, otherwise downloading useful applications and games from the market can be very problematic - the available volume may end very soon. There is never a lot of memory. If we talk about specific brands and models, then you can stop at smartphones of the Fly line up to 5,000 rubles at a cost, Alcatel, or buy a domestic HighScreen.

If you want something more

But still a budget smartphone - it is a budget one. In the presence of a standard set of functions, insufficiently stable operation, a small battery, unstable work with the Internet, a rather poor interface. If someone wants to have an Android phone with many additional functions, a beautiful interface, a large battery, a powerful quad-core processor, a large amount of RAM and internal memory - pay attention to the latest models of expensive, elite devices.

Samsung devices are in great demand on the market. Quite good models were presented by a large Chinese company Lenovo. The price of such devices starts from about 10-12 thousand rubles and extends to 29,000. You can also choose a model from the Japanese Sony, Fly and Alcatel also present their models in this price category.

Features of the functionality of elite smartphones based on Android can be seen on the example of a novelty from the Korean giant Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo. Really working voice control, speech recognition and translation (with dubbing) into different languages, motion and gesture control, the ability to unlock by face and even convert text to speech - these are far from all the functions of the phone.

That's the whole problem. Decide what functionality you really need, choose the appropriate model and - get your credit card.
