The headset allows you to talk on your cell phone without holding it in your hand. Both hands remain free and you can, for example, type dictation or drive a car. Headsets can be wired or wireless.
Instructions
Step 1
To connect a wired headset, first make sure it fits into the designated jack on your phone. In the past, there were no standards for these connectors - each manufacturer applied its own. If you have a device of that period, it is not so easy to find a headset for it today. Since about 2009, most mobile phones have been fitted with standard round sockets with a diameter of 3.5 mm. For them, headsets are produced with a plug like headphones for a player, but not with three, but with four contacts, since the headset has a microphone.
Step 2
As soon as you plug in the headset, the phone will recognize it automatically. It remains to put on headphones during conversations, and speak into the microphone located on the cord. Sometimes there are also buttons that allow you to control some functions of the device. If you don't have a headset and your mobile phone is modern, connect headphones with a standard 3.5 mm three-pin plug to it. They do not contain a microphone. The device will determine this by itself and will not turn off the built-in microphone. You will have to talk, putting on headphones and bending over the phone lying, for example, on the table.
Step 3
The only setting that may be required when using a wired headset is volume control. Call any toll-free number, set the desired volume (usually with the buttons on the right side of the phone) and end the call. If you decide to disconnect the headset, repeat the procedure with a volume that is comfortable for listening through the built-in speaker.
Step 4
To connect a Bluetooth wireless headset, first prepare it. Fully charge her battery. After that, disconnect the charger and put the device into pairing mode. To do this, press the hidden button on the headset. Enter the Bluetooth pairing mode on the phone (the way to enter it depends on the mobile phone model). If such an item is not found in the menu, your device may not have the corresponding function.
Step 5
Start scanning for Bluetooth devices. Choose your headset among them. Enter the pairing code (usually 0000, and if it does not work, look for another code in the instructions for the headset). After successful pairing, it is ready to use. Remember to charge it in time.
