A Bluetooth headset is a convenient means of conversation. Moreover, it can be used both with a mobile phone and with a computer to communicate via the Internet. But for it to work, it needs to be set up correctly.
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to connect your bluetooth headset to your mobile phone, please follow the steps below. Turn on both devices and put the bluetooth headset into search mode. Depending on the manufacturer and model, this requires different steps. Usually, this requires simultaneously holding down the button for answering the call and the wheel that is responsible for adjusting the volume. But it's better to read the instructions for the headset on how to put it into search mode. When turned on correctly, the corresponding indicator will flash.
Step 2
Then turn on the bluetooth mode in the phone. To do this, open the menu and select the appropriate item. It is often called “Connecting Devices”. After that, select the item responsible for detecting new bluetooth devices. After completing this process, you will see a list of detected devices on your phone screen. Select the item in the list that corresponds to your bluetooth headset. When prompted for a code, enter the numbers indicated in the instructions. This is usually 0000.
Step 3
If you need to connect a bluetooth headset to your computer to chat on Skype, follow these steps. Switch the headset to discoverable mode. After that, run the program on the computer to search for bluetooth devices. If there is a shortcut "Bluetooth environment", click on it, if not - right-click on the blue corporate bluetooth icon in the system tray (next to the clock) and select "Open bluetooth environment" or "Add device". Carry out the bluetooth pairing process.
Step 4
Now you need to launch and configure Skype to work with your headset. Open the application settings: Tools -> Options -> Sound Devices. In the Audio In and Audio Out fields, select Bluetooth Audio. Before starting communication, please activate the bluetooth connection between the computer and the headset. To do this, open Bluetooth Places and double-click on the headset icon.
