In Samsung mobile phones, the Internet is configured by entering information into connection profiles. You can either change the settings to the desired ones yourself, or order them from the operator.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that the GPRS-Internet service is activated for your number, to do this, dial the request by dialing * 109 #. Usually it is connected by default when registering a subscriber. If you do not know how to use the USSD request system, contact the technical support staff by calling 111 or another number specified in the documents when registering a SIM card. The number may vary depending on your region. You can also ask the operator to send automatic Internet settings to your number.
Step 2
From your Samsung phone's menu, go to the Internet connection profile settings. You will see several positions, some of them may already have Internet settings from other operators. Depending on the device model, the settings can be accessed from the phone connection properties menu. Select a connection profile that is not occupied by the settings and name it "SMARTS Internet". Specify the value internet.smarts.ru in the access point, leave the login and password fields empty.
Step 3
Click on your profile to highlight it, open the context menu and set it as the default connection, if necessary. Restart your mobile phone for internet settings to take effect.
Step 4
You can also use an alternative way of receiving the Internet settings of the SMARTS operator, for example, when you send an SMS message to 123, you will receive an automatic reply to your message containing the WAP, GPRS and MMS settings. Choose among them the GPRS setting and apply it as a profile for the default connection, while using the password 0000.
Step 5
Please note that Internet access is also available via WAP, however, you should not do this if you can connect via an Internet profile.
