The most effective way in this case is to physically disconnect this device. This is done as follows: - disconnect the computer;
- unscrew the screws from the side of the system unit using a screwdriver;
- remove the side wall of the system unit;
- disconnect the speakerphone wires from the connector on the system board;
- Assemble the system unit.
Step 2
If you cannot disassemble the system unit (it is under warranty or this is your working system unit), then use the disabling of the internal speaker using the "Device Manager". Right-click on the icon "My Computer" - item "Device Manager" - menu "View" - item "Show hidden devices" - "Device drivers are not Plug and Play" - double click on the item "Beep". In the window that opens, go to the "Driver" tab - click on restarting the computer, the speakerphone will stop reminding about itself.
Step 3
You can also change the way that system problems are reported without using the speakerphone. For this we need a registry editor. Click the Start menu - click Run - type Regedit - click OK. In the window that opens, go to the registry folder [HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelSound] - find the Beep parameter - open it with a double click - change the value of this parameter to NO. After restarting your computer, the speakerphone will be disabled.
