What kind of remotes do not exist: for a TV, computer, washing machine. Universal remotes are not uncommon. Would you like to try making your own remote control for the camera?
Instructions
Step 1
Some models of cameras can be controlled with a remote control. Before making such a remote control, check the manual of your camera. It is usually not included in the package and is not cheap. It will be much more economical to make it yourself. Similar remotes operate on the principle of a trigger: half-pressing - focusing on the photographing object, pressing - shutter release.
Step 2
Find a suitable scheme on the Internet (for example, on the page https://help-pc.mysevastopol.com/photo1.shtml) and go to the radio market to buy a special plug ("microjack" with 4 contacts, each of which is 2 mm in diameter). If you are in doubt that the plug will be chosen correctly, take a camera with you to the market
Step 3
Take from some old and unnecessary device a momentary button with 2 contact groups. Remove unnecessary parts from it and solder the resistors (33 or 36 K). This button (or rather its body) will serve as the basis of the remote control.
Step 4
Install a mini-jack on such a remote control so that you can connect any extension cable to it, for example, from an audio device, which can also be bought on the radio market. And as a cable, use any not very rigid cable with a length of about 1 meter (not necessarily shielded).
Step 5
For the whole structure to have a finished look, glue polystyrene plates (suitable dimensions, 3 mm thick) to all 4 sides of the button body. Attach the connector socket to one of the plates.
Step 6
After the glue is dry, cut off excess plastic with a file. Cover the body of the remote control with self-adhesive tape in a color of your choice. The remote control does not require any additional configuration.
