A huge number of computers begin to emit unpleasant sounds to the human ear after several years of operation. The main reason for this noise is the fans located on the system unit and individual devices.

- - cotton buds.
Instructions
Step 1
The main reason for the increased noise level emitted by fans is dusty blades. First, get rid of this problem. Turn off your computer and open the system unit. Remove the fan by unscrewing a few screws or latches.
Step 2
Disconnect power from the fan. The wire is usually attached to the motherboard or to the device on which this cooler is installed. Soak a cotton swab in an alcohol solution. Wipe the fan blades with it.
Step 3
To check the noise level, connect the power to the device and turn on the computer. In this case, it is absolutely not necessary to install the fan in place. This will save you a lot of time.
Step 4
If the unpleasant noise still persists, shut down the computer. Turn off the fan and remove it from the system unit. There is a special sticker in the central part of the coolers. Take it off, but don't throw it away.
Step 5
In the event that you see a small hole and the axis of rotation of the blades, put a small amount of machine oil or silicone grease into this hole. Never use sunflower oil, because it crystallizes during heating. Move the blades up and down and twist them. Reinstall the cooler.
Step 6
If you find a rubber plug under the sticker, remove it. After that, you will see a picture similar to the one described in the previous step. Carefully remove the lock washer and rubber ring. Remove the blades from the axle on which they are held.
Step 7
Place a small amount of the grease present on the pivot shaft and into the vane opening. Reinstall the blades. Replace the rubber washer and retaining ring. Install the fan and secure it. Turn on the computer to check the noise level.
