Modern technical inventions make life much easier. If the phone has the ability to read books, then it becomes a lightweight portable library that you can use anytime, anywhere. To read books on Nokia, you need to properly adapt the printed editions by changing their format.

Instructions
Step 1
Select the book you want to format. For faster work, place it in a specially created folder on your desktop or in a directory convenient for you on your computer. Be sure to pay attention to the original format of the book. It is indicated by three letters after the name, for example,.txt,.doc,.fb2, etc.
Step 2
Download Nokia PCSuite from the manufacturer's website. Install it on your computer. It is necessary to synchronize the program with the phone. Connect your gadget to your computer using a cable or Bluetooth connection. Run the installed program, it will automatically find the connected phone.
Step 3
For a book to be well recognized by a mobile phone, it must be converted to the correct format - JAVA. To do this, download and install the Shasoft eBook program on your computer - it reads book files written in any format. It is freely available on the developer's website at shasoft.com. Using this program, you can easily change the format of the book you need for Nokia.
Step 4
Launch the Shasoft eBook program. In the upper right pane of the window, click the button with three dots. In the explorer window that opens, find the saved file with the book, use the "Open" command.
Step 5
All possible encodings of the selected file will appear in a new window. To choose the one that suits you, check all the lines sequentially. Select the encoding with the left mouse button, click the "Next" button. If the screen displays incomprehensible hieroglyphs, use the "Back" command. The correct encoding will be the one after transformation of which you can easily read the text. Click "Next".
Step 6
In the window that opens, fill in the required data about the book. Pay special attention to the line "Name in transliteration" - the name you entered will be used to designate files in the phone. Click "Next". In a new window, you will be prompted to set the necessary parameters for the images in the document. If your book does not contain images, skip this window by pressing the "Next" button.
Step 7
Select your phone model from the drop-down list. Examine the data that appears in the window. They represent the indication of keys to control the functions of the book while reading.
Step 8
In the penultimate window, specify additional parameters. Find out what version of JAVA is used in your phone model from the instructions. If it is lost, install MIDP 1.0, which plays on all mobile devices. In the "Max MIDlet size" window, specify the value "4096". This means that the program will create a book in one installation file, without splitting it into several.
Step 9
Select the folder where the files created by the program will be placed. Be sure to remember its address so that you can easily transfer the book to your Nokia mobile phone later. Click the Finish button.
Step 10
Open the folder where you saved the formatted book for Nokia. Find the file with the name ending “.jar”. Its icon should look like Nokia PC Suite. Double-click to activate the installer, wait for it to complete.
