The phonebook is a list of contacts stored in the phone's memory. Due to the fact that the number of cells that can be stored in the memory of a SIM card is limited, many people store it in the phone's memory. When you change your phone, it becomes necessary to transfer contacts. The fastest option is sync.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, it is necessary to install drivers for both the phone from which the notebook is copied and for the phone to which it is copied. The software must be located on the driver disc that comes with the device. Otherwise, you can download the required programs on the official website www.nokia.com. Keep in mind that you may need two versions of the drivers as you will be syncing the two phones one at a time. Also, take care of the availability of data cables. If they are not included in the package bundle, you can buy them in a cell phone store
Step 2
Install the software and connect the phone that contains the contact list to be copied. It is necessary to perform the actions in this sequence in order to avoid incorrect addition of the device. Make sure the battery is fully charged before connecting the device.
Step 3
Connect your phone to your computer and then launch the software. Make sure it "sees" the machine. Using the program, copy the contact list from the source phone to a file and save it to your computer. Restart your phone and disconnect it from your computer.
Step 4
Connect a second phone. Launch the synchronization software and then copy the phonebook from the file to the phone memory. Do not disconnect or use your phone before syncing is complete, as this may result in data loss. After copying is complete, restart your phone through the program and make sure all contacts are copied.
Step 5
You can also copy the phone book from one phone to another using a SIM card. In this case, you need to copy some of the contacts to a SIM card, then copy them to another phone, and rearrange it again to the original phone. Repeat this operation until all data has been copied.
