Step 1
If your tablet has an Android operating system, you can easily fix the situation, no matter what brand your tablet is, be it Samsung, Asus, Acer, Explay or any other.

The first step is to check the USB port settings on your tablet.

If your tablet has Android 4.1.1 installed, open the settings, scroll to the very bottom. At the bottom you will see the "for developers" field, select the power button on the slider. Check the box next to USB debugging.

If you have an Android 4.2.1 operating system, open the additional menu in the memory settings. In the USB settings, check the box next to "USB storage". In this mode, the tablet will be defined as a USB flash drive, then you can go to any folders, change them, add new files.

If the computer does not see the tablet, check the cable with which you connect the devices. Use only the original wire that came with your tablet.

In some models of tablet computers, you must click the "Connect USB storage" setting to connect.

On newer models of computers and laptops, USB 3.0 may be installed, and therefore the data on the tablet may not be reflected correctly when connected. In this case, try selecting a different port on your computer.

The tablet may not be detected if the USB is broken. You can check the operation of the ports if you connect a USB flash drive to them.

If the computer still does not see the tablet, try downloading the driver for your device from the official website.
