Step 1
Use a hard, non-sharp object to remove the protective layer from the payment card. Do this as carefully as possible so as not to damage or erase the numbers.
Step 2
You can activate a single payment card using a free USSD request. To do this, from your mobile phone, dial the combination * 110 * # PIN-code of the payment card # button to send a call, if you activate the card to your own number. The call button is the green handset depicted on the telephone keypad.
Step 3
If you need to activate the card to the number of another subscriber, dial the following combination: * 110 # PIN code of the payment card # subscriber's number in international format # call button. Dial the subscriber's number in the format: 7 (three-digit operator code) (seven-digit subscriber number).
Step 4
You can also activate the payment card using the SMS service. To activate, send an SMS to 1100. Sending messages within the local network is free. Dial the PIN-code of the payment card and send it to number 1100, if you activate a single card to your own number.
If you need to activate it to the number of another subscriber, dial the PIN-code of the card # subscriber's number in international format.
Step 5
Finally, the payment card can be activated by calling 0011 from a mobile phone. Dial the indicated number and then follow the instructions. A call to 0011 is free in the Megafon network.
Step 6
If using a single payment card, the contract is extended for subscribers of Light tariff plans, keep in mind that the renewal period depends on the face value of the card. For example, if the face value of the card is 150 rubles, then the contract will last for only 5 days.
