Minus one, or minus phonogram - instrumental accompaniment recorded on an electronic removable medium (disk, flash card or other). It contains a recording of the parts of all instruments, in some cases and backing vocals, but the main vocal track is excluded.
Instructions
Step 1
Recording a backing track implies the presence of a finished score, played or recorded in sheet music. A phonogram is recorded by sampling (a set of parts with samples of electronic instruments) or live performance by musicians. This choice also needs to be made at the preparatory stage.
Step 2
Record the drum part. In the case of sampling, simply select drum sounds from the library. Do not overload the part with sonorous hi-hats, they will drown out the melody and chords. A "live" musician himself will understand how to play, you can show him only some nuances and substitute microphones connected to the amplifier for the installation. Attach the microphone connected to the computer to the speaker. Press the record button and ask to play the game.
Step 3
The next step is the bass part. She doesn't have to be overly virtuoso, except for solo moments. Remember that the design of live instruments that perform this function prevents them from performing fast passages.
Step 4
In the next stage, the echoes are recorded, the main orchestration, from low frequencies to mids and highs. Instrumental accompaniment should be slightly muted so as not to come to the fore during the performance of the voice. Do not overuse delights and side themes, from time to time turn off instruments from the musical fabric.
