The innovative Nintendo 3DS XL game console deserves the attention of a wide audience. It will not be long before the portable system arrives on store shelves.
The new 3DS XL Pocket Game Console, officially unveiled by Nintendo on June 21, 2012, is an upgraded version of the 3DS that hit the market a couple of years ago. The main feature of the novelty is the ability to fully manage three-dimensional content.
Supporting the 3D Glasses free technology inherited from the previous model, the portable system will easily allow you to view 3D images without the use of special glasses. The original device is equipped with two displays.
The 4.88-inch top screen has a resolution of 240x800 pixels and supports 3D viewing. The display on the control panel of the handheld console is slightly smaller. The lower screen with a diagonal of 4, 18 inches has a resolution of 240x320 pixels, is endowed with a touch sensitive stylus, a touch surface and can be successfully used for control in games.
The battery life is more capacious than the previous model, the battery has almost doubled and is 6.5 hours. The gaming console has become noticeably larger, its size is 156x93x22 mm and weighs 235 g (with stylus and SD card).
3DS XL screens are framed by a frame that visually separates them from the body. The rounded corners, coupled with the redesigned buttons below the touchscreen, accentuate the new console's aesthetic changes and complete its shape.
The original 3DS XL will be available in three color options - White, Silver / Black, and Red / Black. Wanting to make its high-tech product more affordable in price and given the large number of owners of portable systems of previous versions, the manufacturer did not include a power supply in the package.
Nintendo plans to delight its fans on July 28th. On this day, 3DS XL game consoles will go on sale in Europe and Japan. The approximate price of the portable console is approximately 200 euros.
