Anyone who has ever filmed a home video would like to show it to family and friends. It is much more convenient to do this by placing the disc in the DVD player and sitting in front of the TV screen. Moreover, there is nothing difficult in burning files to DVD, even if your video is saved as an avi file.
Necessary
- Nero Burning ROM
- DVD burner on computer
- Video file
- Blank DVD disc
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare files for burning to disk. Some players may not understand Cyrillic file names. This will not be a problem when playing a file, but you will not be able to select the desired file by name in the player's menu, so rename the files in Latin letters. If you are going to write more than one file to disk, add a sequence number in front of the file name in the format 01, 02, and so on. In this case, your files will be played by default in the order shown.
Step 2
Start the Nero program using the Nero Smart Start icon.
Step 3
Select the DVD disc type at the top of the window. Below, click on the sheet of paper icon. Your task will be to create a data DVD. The corresponding message appears in the Nero Smart Start window. Click on this label.
Step 4
In the Nero Express window that opens, select the size of the disc to burn. This can be done through the drop-down list in the lower right corner of the program window.
Step 5
Select the files you are going to burn to DVD. To do this, left-click on the "Add" button in the program window. In the window that opens, select the files you need and double-click on them with the left mouse button. A disk full indicator will appear at the bottom of the program window. The disk will be full when the indicator reaches the red line. After adding the last file, click on the "Finish" button.
Step 6
Click on the "Next" button. In the window that opens, specify the name of the disc to be written, put a tick in the checkbox "Check data after writing to disk" and uncheck the checkbox "Allow adding files", if it was there. The player may have problems reading multisession discs.
Step 7
Click on the "Record" button in the lower right corner of the program window. Wait until the end of the data recording and verification process. The AVI file disc is ready.
