Telephone conversations have become so firmly entrenched in our lives that without them it is impossible to imagine either leisure or, even more so, work. Most often, the need to record telephone conversations arises in companies that negotiate over the phone with customers and partners. In this case, the management of the enterprise should think about purchasing a special telephone set with the ability to record conversations. Recording in such devices will turn on both automatically immediately after picking up the handset, and by pressing a special button if necessary. Remember that such records can only be used to resolve internal work issues. Moreover, according to the law, you must warn the interlocutor about the fact of recording your conversation. A recording made without permission is considered illegal and its use as an argument, for example, in resolving an external dispute, will not be recognized.

For a single recording of a private conversation from a home phone, you can, of course, also use a dictaphone. The quality of such a recording will be below average, therefore, if you know for sure that you will need a recording of a conversation, then it is better to resort to some measures. One of such measures may be the purchase of a special telephone card. You buy such a card, register on the manufacturer's website, and you don't need to do anything else. If there is a need to record an outgoing conversation, you call the special number indicated on the card, then after a beep dial the number you need, and your conversation will be recorded. You can obtain a recording of the conversation from the card manufacturer. How to do this is usually written on the back of the card.

Another possibility of recording a conversation can be the use of a special application for a cell phone. For each model of a mobile phone, and even more so for smartphones, there are, as a rule, several such applications that work both in the mode of a regular voice recorder and are purposefully designed for recording conversations. Most of these programs emit a beep heard by the other person to notify him of the beginning of the recording. But there are those who write all the conversations without notifying the line participants in any way. Recording of conversations can later be downloaded from the phone's memory to a computer and can be further used if desired. As you can see, you can record any telephone conversation, but you shouldn't forget about the legislative background of such a recording.
