Samsung F490 is a stylish multifunctional mobile phone. All applications for this device are in java format. The installation can be done with a computer using the appropriate software.

Instructions
Step 1
To install the program on the phone from a computer, you must first install the drivers. Insert the included software disc into the computer's floppy drive, connect the phone using the device cable. As soon as a window appears on the screen asking you to install the drivers for the device, select "Search my computer manually", and specify the drive as the location. Wait for the end of the installation procedure.
Step 2
If you do not have a driver disc, find the software on the Samsung official website. Go to the main page, click on the "Support" link at the top of it. Select the item "Mobile phones", specify the model of the device by going to the menu "Mobile phones" - "Other" - SGH-F490. Click on the "Applications" tab. In the list of programs, left-click on the exe icon on the right side of the table. Download and run the file, and then proceed with the installation following the instructions of the installer.
Step 3
Download and install the TkFileExplorer program from the Internet. Reconnect your phone to your computer and run the utility you just installed.
Step 4
In the application window, go to the Setting - Com tab. Select the port to which the device is connected. To find out its number, go to the Windows Device Manager (right-click on "My Computer" - "Properties" - "Device Manager"). From the tree of devices connected to the computer, select Samsung CDMA Modem in the modem tree. The port number will be indicated in the properties window.
Step 5
If you have chosen the correct port, the phone's file system structure will open. Create a folder where you will download all the jar and jad files, move the game and application files into it.
Step 6
In standby mode, enter the combination * # 6984125 * #. In the menu that appears, select the items Admin menu - Internals. Then enter * # 9072641 * # from the keyboard and click on Storage Settings - Update Java DB. The applications are installed.
