Owners of a Sony Ericsson phone (and indeed any other one) must first receive the appropriate settings to send mms messages. You can get them by contacting your telecom operator (for example, MegaFon, Beeline or MTS).
Instructions
Step 1
Megafon clients receive mms settings immediately after activating their SIM card. But if this did not happen, you can order them again. Subscribers of this telecom operator can do this by going to the official website. There is a special questionnaire (you only need to indicate your mobile phone number). As soon as the operator receives your request and processes it, he will send you mms message settings to your phone. Please note that the settings will only take effect if you save them immediately after receiving. By the way, along with the necessary settings, the Internet settings will also come.
Step 2
There is another connection method in Megafon: you can simply send an sms-message to the short number 5049. Before sending, specify the number 3 in the text. Ordering automatic settings is also available by calling 0500 (this is the number of the Customer Support Center). Call, tell the operator the model and brand of your phone.
Step 3
MTS subscribers should go to the company's website to receive mms-settings. There is a menu such as Help and Service. Click on it. After that, you will see the required column "MMS Settings". Next, you must fill out a small form (just fill in your phone number). Please note: you only need to specify the number in seven-digit format.
Step 4
By the way, so that you can receive and send mms messages, you will need not only mms settings, but also the connected GPRS / EDGE function. To activate, dial the Ussd-number * 111 * 18 # on the keyboard.
Step 5
Clients of the operator "Beeline" to receive automatic settings should use the number * 118 * 2 #. You don't need to do anything else (the brand of the mobile phone will be detected automatically). As soon as you get the data you want, remember to save it. To do this, when prompted for a password, enter the standard code 1234.
