Step 1
First, make sure it is fully charged and ready to go. You also need to charge your cell phone. To do this, use the original Sony Ericsson charger supplied in the kit. Turn on your phone and headset. Press the Answer / End button to turn on the headset.
Step 2
To connect to the phone, you need to set the headset to interconnection mode. Press the Answer / End button and press the Volume Up button at the same time. Wait for the blue LED to turn on continuously.
Step 3
Set up your bluetooth phone to recognize your Sony Ericsson headset. You only need to do this once. Subsequently, your phone will recognize the headset automatically. Next, follow the instructions in your phone's manual for connecting bluetooth devices. Typically, you will need to enter the Setup, Connect or Bluetooth menu on your phone and select the Discover or Add bluetooth device option.
Step 4
After performing the above algorithm, your phone will detect the Sony Erickson headset and a message appears on its screen asking you to confirm the interconnection with it. Press “YES” or “OK” to confirm. A request for confirmation of access to bluetooth devices will appear on the display of the mobile phone. Confirm your access by entering the security code. For many phones, it defaults to 0000 (4 zeros). After entering the code, your phone will confirm the interconnection with the Sony Ericsson headset. In case of unsuccessful connection, repeat the described sequence of actions.
