Bluetooth wireless data transfer protocol is the result of active cooperation and fruitful work of developers of several giant corporations such as Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Toshiba and Nokia. Currently, more than 4,000 companies are already exploring the as yet undisclosed possibilities of this technology. Owners of Sony Ericsson phones can take full advantage of this wireless technology. However, the best place to start is by connecting a Bluetooth headset.
Instructions
Step 1
Charge your phone battery. If this is not possible, make sure the battery sensor is reading more than 50%. The operation of the Bluetooth module is associated with increased power consumption, so the Sony Ericsson cell phone will run out of charge a little faster.
Step 2
Get your bluetooth headset ready. Do not turn it on before you activate the Bluetooth module in your phone. The fact is that the headset is detected in a special mode and differs from the usual "communication" between two phones or a phone with a computer using the "blue tooth".
Step 3
Make sure your Sony Ericsson cell phone has all the necessary Bluetooth permissions. In most cases, during the first session of the "acquaintance" of the headset and the mobile phone, the latter in the menu must have a confirmation tick opposite the item "Allow detection by unauthorized devices". Otherwise, the headset will simply not "see" the mobile phone and the connection will be impossible.
Step 4
After checking the correctness of the settings in the phone menu, turn on the headset. Press and hold the power button until the headset LED starts flashing rapidly. Do not release the button ahead of time, otherwise the headset will simply turn on, immediately entering the operating mode instead of looking for open Bluetooth devices closest to it.
Step 5
Look at the screen. If everything was done correctly, then the display should show a request from the system to allow or prohibit work with a new Bluetooth device. Confirm that you want to connect the Bluetooth headset to your mobile phone. Some devices require a four-character password on first connection. Dial any, it can be the simplest one, for example, 0000 or 1234. Most likely, this password will never be needed again.
Step 6
If the headset is not detected, and the search for new devices does not return any results, check to see if the device is empty. Charge your headset and try to connect again. In case no change for the better occurs, try to determine if there are high-tech structures nearby with strong shielding radiation. The headset signal is weak enough to be easily drowned out by a more powerful data source. Also make sure that the Sony Ericsson cell phone and the Bluetooth headset to be connected are within 7-9 meters of each other.
