Not all mobile phones have enough memory to store a large amount of information. Sooner or later, it may be necessary to remove it. There are several ways in which you can delete files from the phone memory.
Instructions
Step 1
The first option is to delete files using the interface of the phone itself. To do this, go to its menu and open the gallery. Find the file you want to delete and open its functions. In the list that appears, select the "Delete" item. If you want to delete all files in the phone's memory (or a specific folder), also open the functions, then select "Select all" from the list and then "Delete".
Step 2
Another option is to connect your phone to your computer. To do this, use a USB cable or other supported means of connection (infrared, bluetooth, Wi-Fi). After connecting the mobile phone to the computer, the operating system will detect the new removable device. Open "My Computer" using Explorer and select the folder corresponding to the connected phone. Select the files you want to delete, then right-click and select "Delete" from the list. Alternatively, you can press the Delete key on your computer keyboard. Confirm the deletion of files by clicking on the "Yes" button.
Step 3
Many mobile phone manufacturers provide bundled software for synchronizing your phone and computer. Connect your mobile phone to your PC and launch such an application. Open the file manager in the program interface and use it to delete unnecessary files from memory.
Step 4
If you need to delete files on your phone's memory card, remove it and insert it into your computer's card reader. Using your operating system's explorer, open My Computer and then the memory card folder. Select the required files and delete them. You can also format the flash card. To do this, right-click on its icon and select "Format" from the list. Then click the "Get Started" button. Wait for the process to finish.
