Fans (coolers) are installed in stationary computers and laptops. This is to keep the equipment cool to protect the devices from damage from overheating.
It is necessary
- - SpeedFan;
- - AMD OverDrive.
Instructions
Step 1
In a situation where the fans do not cope with the task, they must be adjusted or replaced. Start the fan overclocking process by installing the SpeedFan software. Please note that this utility will not work with most laptops.
Step 2
Run the installed program. Click the Configure button and go to the Options tab. Select Russian in the Language menu. Click the "Ok" button. At the bottom of the menu that opens, you will see several names of the fans.
Step 3
Above is the list of devices to which these coolers are connected and their temperatures. Increase the required fan speed by pressing the Up button. To automate the process of changing the fan speeds, press the "Auto fan speed" button.
Step 4
If using this program you were unable to increase the rotational speed of the fan blades, but your computer works with ADM processors, then install the AMD OverDrive utility. It can be downloaded from the official website www.ati.com
Step 5
Run the installed AMD OverDrive software. Wait for the hardware scan process to complete. In the left column, find the Fan Control menu and navigate to it.
Step 6
By changing the position of the sliders located at the bottom of the menu that appears, increase the speed of the fans. If you want to automate the procedure for changing the speed of coolers, select the Automatic item for the required fan.
Step 7
To fix the achieved effect, click the Apply button. Don't close the program. Click the Preferences button located in the upper right corner of the program window. Go to the Settings menu.
Step 8
Check the box next to Apply my last settings when system boots. Click the Ok button. Close the program. Start SpeedFan and check the readings of the temperature sensors.
