Any applications can be downloaded to Apple mobile devices (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) exclusively through the App Store. You can buy or download the programs and games you like for iPod Touch for free using the preinstalled App Store application in the player itself, or from iTunes, which you use to synchronize your gadget with your computer.
Instructions
Step 1
The most convenient option for selecting applications for their subsequent installation on the iPod is to use iTunes, without which full-fledged work with any of Apple's mobile devices is impossible. If for some reason you have not yet installed iTunes on your computer, download the installation file on the official website of the company at www.apple.com and install the program.
Step 2
Launch iTunes, select the "iTunes Store" section from the menu and go to the App Store tab. You will need to create an Apple account here, as without it you won't be able to download any apps for your iPod. Click the "Login" button first, and then - "Create a new account". Accept the terms of the agreement and fill in all the fields of the registration form.
Step 3
If you plan to download paid apps, please provide your credit card details. It can be either debit or credit, or even a virtual bank card. If you want to use only free apps from the App Store, select None from the list of card types.
Step 4
Immediately after registration, you can choose from a huge number of applications in the App Store, which can be sorted by category, popularity and other criteria. To install the program or game you like, click on the button next to the application icon. It can be Buy App (for paid ones) or Free (for free ones). The application will be downloaded to your computer.
Step 5
Connect your iPod to your computer using a USB cable and sync by clicking the corresponding button in iTunes. Any apps you download will be transferred to your iPod and you can use them immediately after syncing is complete. When transferring purchased games and programs from iTunes to a mobile device, you can mark both all applications and some of them by marking the ones you need in the list of programs for synchronization.
Step 6
You can also use the App Store app, found in your iPod Touch menu, to register an Apple ID and download apps. The procedure is virtually the same as the above process using iTunes on a computer.
