Many system units have additional sound card outputs and several USB ports located on the front panel. Unfortunately, these connectors do not always work stably.

Step 1
If the headphones or speaker system does not produce audio signals after connecting to the front channels, check that you have the necessary drivers. Open the Device Manager menu.
Step 2
To do this, go to the properties of the "Computer" item and select the appropriate link. Make sure no equipment is marked with an exclamation mark. If not, update the drivers for your sound card.
Step 3
Use the website of the company that makes the board you are using to find the drivers you need. Better find out the exact model of the device in advance. If you are using an integrated audio adapter, update your motherboard drivers.
Step 4
Check the front soundbar settings in the BIOS menu. Restart your computer and hold down the Delete (Sec, F2) key. Wait for the computer system board control menu to start. Examine the contents of the existing sections and find the item "Front Panel Support Type".
Step 5
Open it and set HD Audio option instead of AC97. It should be noted that sometimes it makes sense to switch the mode in reverse order. Save the new settings and restart your computer again.
Step 6
Open your sound card management software and make sure the front panel is not disabled. In Realtek utilities, as a rule, a message appears when connecting a new device. Try changing the port assignments by selecting Front Speakers or Headphones.
Step 7
If the described manipulations did not lead to a positive result, check the correct connection of the panel to the motherboard. To do this, read the instructions for this device. Remove the cover of the system unit.
Step 8
Make sure the specific audio port connectors are plugged into the correct pins on the motherboard. Correct the connection if you notice an error.
