Step 1
After starting the program, press the small button, which shows the key, or press the key combination Ctrl + P. In the opened program settings window, on the left side, the names of the tabs will be displayed. By default, the Playback tab should open. For the best sounding music, select your sound card from the list, then click "Activate".

Nearby is the item for the bit depth of the sound, select the item 16 bit - this value is quite enough for normal listening to music. 32-bit mode is suitable for computers that have a separate sound card, because the built-in card increases the load on the processor each time you listen. The consequence of such a load is the constant "stuttering" or "stuttering" of the music. Below is the Sound Effects section. Remove all marks as this eats up some of the RAM resources.

Go to the "Playlist" tab. Check the box next to "Don't show the second line with information." This line is parasitic - almost all information is displayed in the main program window while the file is playing.

Go to the Hotkeys tab. In the global column, enter the following shortcut key values that are easy to remember:

Go to the File Associations tab. Click the "Enable All" and "Enable" buttons in sequence. Now all audio files are "tied" to this player.

Go to the "Interface" tab. To speed up the work of the AIMP 2 player, you can uncheck all the marks on this tab. Click the Apply button. The player settings window will close.

There are also some settings in the main window of the program. Add any music file by clicking on the "+" sign at the bottom of the playlist or by pressing the key combination Ctrl + O. After the song starts playing, you will see the progress of the time spent on this song. Since the length of the song is indicated in the program's playlist, you can instruct the program to display the remaining track time. To do this, just left-click on the current track time.

At the request of the user, you can adjust the equalizer. Unlike the Winamp analogue program, the AIMP program's equalizer has more frequency bands, which allows you to more accurately adjust the desired sound. You can open the equalizer by clicking on the button with the image of several vertical stripes. After opening the equalizer, click on the Off button, then the Library button, select the appropriate setting, click the "Apply" button.
