Call forwarding is a service that allows you to forward incoming calls to another phone. With it, you will not miss an important call, you will always be in touch, even when your phone is locked. The service is connected using the settings in the phone itself or using special USSD commands. But how can you turn it off, for example, if you are a subscriber of the MTS mobile operator?
Instructions
Step 1
You can turn off call forwarding using the internet assistant. To do this, go to the official website of MTS. In the upper right corner, find the inscription "Login to the Internet Assistant" - click on it. Enter the number and password that you set earlier. If you do not have a password to access your personal account, dial the following combination of characters from your mobile: * 111 * 25 # and a call key (the password must be from 4 to 7 digits).
Step 2
Once on the personal account page, you will see a menu in front of you. Find the "Settings" tab, and in it the item - "Call forwarding", click on it. On the page that opens, you will see the forwarding conditions, which are located in a tabular form, select the ones you need and click "Disable".
Step 3
You can also contact the nearest office of the cellular company "MTS". Do not forget to take with you an identity document and a phone with a valid SIM card of this mobile operator. If the SIM card is not registered to you, then you will need a power of attorney from the owner with this personal number.
Step 4
You can deactivate the Call Forwarding service using special USSD commands. First, determine what call forwarding you have installed: for all calls, if your line is busy, outside the coverage area of the network, or you simply did not answer the incoming one. Dial the command you need to deactivate the service: - forwarding to all calls: ** 21 # and call key; - forwarding if the line is busy: ** 67 # and call key; - forwarding if you are out of access area: ** 62 # and the call key; - forwarding if you did not answer the call: ** 61 # and the call key.
Step 5
You can also call the customer service line at 0500. Having contacted the operator, give your passport details, and the service will be disabled.
