The phone can be broken for many reasons, both technical and related to the conditions of careless use. It is very easy to hand over a phone for repair, but the place of repair depends on the term and conditions of the phone's use.
Instructions
Step 1
Option 1. Broken phone is under warranty.
If it still breaks down, but is within the warranty period of use, it must be handed over in accordance with the terms of purchase to the warranty service center. You can check if the phone is under warranty by looking at the payment documents for the item. There are addresses and phone numbers, by contacting which you can return the phone for repair. As a rule, the repair does not take more than two weeks, however, there are cases when the service center can extend this period up to 45 days due to the lack of some parts or equipment necessary for the repair. Free repairs will be made when the breakdown is associated with a technical defect of the phone. Otherwise, the service center has the right to demand money for repairs. Sometimes the equipment cannot be repaired. This means that according to the consumer protection law, the seller is obliged to return either the same product or return the money in full for the purchased phone of inadequate quality. All this is possible only if the phone cannot be repaired due to a factory defect.
Step 2
Option 2. The broken phone has passed the warranty period.
In this case, the phone can also be handed over for repair. Depending on the brand of the phone, the repair must be carried out at a service center that has been certified by the manufacturer. The addresses of such repair shops can be found on the official websites of a particular phone brand. Of course, you can return the phone for repair to a simple workshop on the street, but then there are no guarantees that the repair will be carried out on time and of proper quality. In the best case, the repair will take 2 weeks. The worst case scenario is when the phone cannot be repaired.
Step 3
Option 3. The phone cannot be repaired.
In this case, the owner of the broken phone can sell it for spare parts. It is enough to visit a repair shop that is not tied to any service centers or manufacturing plants and invite its craftsmen to purchase a phone for spare parts. The price depends on the phone model and on the greed of those to whom it is sold.
