The main purpose of navigators is to draw up routes to follow. However, most devices also support working with video files, viewing which can brighten up the travel time. To do this, you just need to record a video on the navigator.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect your navigator to your computer using a USB cable. To do this, insert one end of the cord into the corresponding connector on the device, and the other into the computer. Then press the power button on the navigator.
Step 2
After a few seconds, the computer will detect the connection of the new device. If necessary, the required drivers will be automatically installed for the navigator to work as a removable storage medium. Wait until the device is fully detected and the drivers are installed before starting work.
Step 3
Use your operating system's explorer to open the folder containing the video files you want to burn. In another window, open the folder of the navigator where the recording will be made. As a rule, it bears a corresponding name, for example, Video. Copy the required video file by right-clicking on it and selecting “Copy”, and then paste it into the navigator folder by right-clicking on the free space and selecting “Paste”.
Step 4
If you are used to using file managers, and not the standard explorer, run the appropriate program. In one of its windows, open the folder with the video, and in the other the navigator folder intended for recording. Select the video file you want to overwrite and click the Copy button. If you need to record multiple files, repeat this procedure with each of them, or first select all and then copy them.
Step 5
If your navigation device supports flash memory cards, use the following method. Remove the memory card from the navigator, and then insert it into the computer's card reader. After the system detects the connected removable media, copy the necessary video files to the memory card using one of the methods. Then remove it from your computer and reinsert it into your navigator.
