Navigators are electronic devices that can position a location using a GPS chipset. Recently, these devices have been modified and now you can watch your favorite video on them.
Necessary
- - navigator;
- - connection cable.
Instructions
Step 1
To copy a movie to your navigator, you need to do the same as when connecting your phone to a computer. A USB extension cable is used here as a connecting cable, the ends of which connect two devices into a single circuit. Before connecting (pairing) devices, do not forget to turn off the navigator, and when connecting, do not forget to turn it on.
Step 2
After a while, a message will appear on the monitor screen about successful establishment of connection and finding a new device. Typically, this operation takes up to 5 seconds. The operating system will then search for suitable drivers. If they are not available, download them from the Internet or a special disc that comes with the navigation device.
Step 3
After connecting both devices, a window for choosing an action for autorun should appear on the screen, scroll to the last item and select the "Open folder" option. You will see the "Windows Explorer" window. Find and open the folder where the video will be copied.
Step 4
Now open "My Computer", find the directory with videos and copy the required file to the Video folder of your navigator. You can copy a file in several ways: using the context menu options "Copy" and "Paste", by simply dragging and dropping, or by pressing the keyboard shortcuts "Ctrl + C" and "Ctrl + V".
Step 5
In some cases, a direct connection using a connecting cable is not possible. To solve this problem, you will need special software, which, as a rule, is on the disk from the navigator. Some models have a removable memory card. Use a card reader or similar external media reader to copy movies to a removable disk.
