Usually, there are no difficulties with dialing a phone number. But in view of the fact that now there are a lot of new technical means, against the background of which old devices go out of use, you have to spend your precious time on "sorting out the relationship" with various devices.

Step 1
It is quite possible that in some houses you may still encounter old devices, where instead of buttons there is a circle, and you need to twirl it to dial a phone number. Maybe people living in this house will be indignant and say that such a telephone is not antiquity at all. In any case, the principle of working with such phones is simple: you pick up the phone and start rotating the circle, stopping at the numbers you need. When your finger stops, you simply lift it out of the hole and the circle returns to its original position. You don't need to press any buttons: as soon as you stop dialing the number, you will be connected to the subscriber.

The second method is suitable both for portable handsets or simply telephones equipped with buttons, and for mobile phones. You enter the number (it is displayed on the display) and press a special button, at the signal of which the call begins. In the case of some devices, such buttons are marked in green, in the case of others, they are simply located in a special way. You can find out about where to press from the instructions or from the owner of the telephone. Also, the call button usually corresponds to the call cancellation button, its standard color is red.

There is an even more convenient option: the phone book. Not in the form of a notebook, of course, but in the form of notes in a mobile phone or in a telephone set. The advantage of such a system is that you do not need to enter a whole bunch of numbers every time and waste your precious time on them. The downside is that you can easily forget the number you need and don't remember it anymore if your mobile phone sits down and you want to call someone from someone else's cell.

Some difficulties can arise when working with telephone booths. Now, of course, few people use them, since many (if not all) already have mobile phones. But sometimes abroad, for example, it can be expensive to make mobile-to-mobile calls, and access to Internet services through which you can contact home are not always available. In this case, it is cheaper and more convenient to call from a telephone set, which are available in some countries. You buy a card, insert it into the device and pick up the phone number. First, the country code is entered, then the area code, and only after that - the subscriber's number directly. Also, the dialing features will be determined by the features of the device itself.
