Watching films and satellite TV programs has become an indispensable attribute of Russians' rest at home and outside the city. However, if you have just purchased a package of satellite television services, you will have to take care to tune the channels without inviting specialists for the time being.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the antenna cable to the LNB in jack of the receiver, and the receiver itself to the TV (RF out or SCART input). If you are connecting to this satellite TV package for the first time, the “Language setting” section will appear on the screen (usually Russian by default). After you click "Next", the menu section "AV-out settings" should appear. If necessary, change the settings and click "Next".
Step 2
The next section is “Channel search”. Pay attention to the lower right corner of this section: there is usually a scale for tuning to receive a signal from a satellite. If you have not yet tuned your antenna to receive a signal, do so. Then select the "Search type" section and click "Next".
Step 3
Start automatic channel search. After the search is completed, the request "Save found channels" will appear, which you must confirm. After that, it will be necessary to adjust the time and date, which can be done by selecting the corresponding cells in the table that appears. Click OK. Now all channels found automatically are saved.
Step 4
You can also use another method to automatically tune channels. Press the "Menu" button on the receiver's remote control. Enter the PIN-code in the line that appears ("0000" by default, but later, of course, it is better to change it). Select automatic search in the "Settings" section. From the settings table that appears, select the fast search type. Click “Start Search” and answer “Yes” to “Save Channels”.
Step 5
Be extremely careful when manually searching for channels, as you will have to accurately enter the digital values of the flow rate and frequency of the channels. Select the section "Settings" in the menu and in this section - "Manual search". Leave all existing settings unchanged. You will only need to change the Flow Rate and Frequency values. Click “Yes” after setting each channel. Click "Exit" when finished.
