To watch satellite TV, it is not enough to have a satellite dish, tuner, TV or computer. It is required to correctly configure the reception of the signal from the transponder to the receiver. To do this, you can call the wizard, or you can perform all the manipulations yourself.

Instructions
Step 1
Install and tune the antenna to the selected satellite, let's say it will be Express_AM22 53e. If you watch satellite TV on a computer, you need a satellite DVB PCI or a Skystar 2 USB card to find channels on a satellite. In addition, you should install the ProgDVB program on your PC, it is still superior to competitors in quality and reliability, you should only have a processor with a frequency of at least 1.5 GHz.
Step 2
Open the "Settings" tab and check the box for your device, for example, Skystar 2. In the same tab, go to "DiSEqC and providers" and set the required satellite, if you have a satellite dish configured for several satellites or a motor is used to rotate it, then select all used or visible to your area. Respectively on the left side and set the DiSEqC position.
Step 3
Open the Channel List tab. If you do not know which transponder you need, select the tab of the drop-down menu "Blind search", the program will scan all the transponder frequencies it has on the satellite or satellites. In the event that the desired channel was not found, use the sites www.lyngsat.com or www.flysat.com. Select a channel, write down the parameters of the transponder from which it is broadcast
Step 4
Open the “Channel List” tab, select “Scan transponder”, mark the required satellite in the “Satellite” menu, manually enter the frequency, polarization and speed according to the parameters. Click the Commit tab. Two stripes should "run" from above, which will show the "level" and "quality" of the signal.
Step 5
Click the Scan button. The found channels will appear in the window on the left. Click the "Save" button and they will appear in the left part of the main ProgDVB window. Open (FTA) channels will be highlighted in green, closed - in red. Click on an open TV channel. The image will appear on the right side of the window after 1-2 seconds. To view private channels, you can use special plugins for ProgDVB: MD Yanksee, s2emu and vPlug. Tune the remaining channels on the satellite in the same way.
