At the same time, after carefully reading the instructions for operating the satellite system, this operation is quite accessible to most users. So, the satellite system has been purchased and installed, all that remains is to configure it.

Step 1
Connect the receiver to your TV and satellite dish, then turn it on.
Step 2
In the receiver's menu, find the item “Search for channels” (other names “Installation” are also possible, etc.) and select this item.
Step 3
After that, you will have access to two items "Manual" (manual mode) and "Auto" (automatic mode). You can choose both the one and the other tuning option, but here it should be borne in mind that with a large number of satellites and transponders, channel tuning can turn into a very long and tedious process, since you have to enter broadcast parameters for each channel. We will do it differently. Choose "Auto" mode. The receiver will begin to receive data for each channel and store them in memory.
Step 4
If your receiver model also has a third tuning mode - "blind", use this particular mode. To do this, read carefully the instructions for the installed satellite equipment and if there is a function of blind search ("Blind Search"), then in paragraph 3, instead of "Auto" select this function. In this case, the setting is made according to the principle used when setting up conventional TVs - the entire available frequency range is scanned. In this case, all channels are recorded in the memory. The only drawback of this tuning method is the very low scan speed.
Step 5
After finishing the setup, and this process can take quite a long time, exit all menus. The setup is complete.
